Véronique is the wine reviewer for French CBC Radio and
for Le Droit newspaper in Ottawa-Gatineau. In May 2006,
she earned the title of Quebec’s Best Sommelier and went on to win Canada’s Best Sommelier title in September 2006. She represented Canada at the World’s Best Sommelier competition in Greece in May 2007 and placed in the Top Ten. She has over 15 years experience as a private consultant, teaching and advising about wines to private and public sector clients, as well as 20 years experience in the restaurant industry, in Canada and Europe.

Meet the women of the Prince Edward County Winegrowers Association, industry professionals from the vineyard to the winery.

Konrad Ejbich, Author of the Pocket Guide to Ontario Wines, Wineries, Vineyards, and Vines and popular CBC radio wine phone in expert will be MC for a session entitled The County Women of Wine, which  will introduce many of the  women who have played prominent roles in launching Canada’s newest wine region.
